The Warriors will be without 29-year old center Kwame Brown at least the next three months due to torn pectoral muscles. 26-year old Monta Ellis has pretty much taken over the role as the point guard for the Warriors as the offense is running through him. He has played in 7 games (all starts) for the Warriors so far this year and he is averaging 39.4 minutes, 24.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game. With Stephen Curry down right now as his ankle is acting up, it’s important that Ellis remembers to keep the other players on the Warriors heavily involved in the offense.
