23-year old center Andris Biedrins is out indefinitely with a groin injury. Biedrins is also in Don Nelson’s Dog House for some reasons. Anthony Tolliver will likely get the biggest bump in minutes with Biedrins on the shelf. Tolliver has played in 20 games (9 starts) for the Warriors this season and he is averaging 27.5 minutes, 10.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. The Warriors need him to keep up the good work.

PF/C Anthony Randolph fractured his left ankle last night and he will miss the next 4-6 weeks. He has played in 33 games (8 starts) for the Warriors this season and he is averaging 22.7 minutes, 11.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Even though he has been in and out of Don Nelson’s Dog House the Warriors will still miss him big time.

UPDATE: His ankle is not fractured but he has torn ligaments in one of them and the recovery time will be about the same for this injury.

The Warriors have lost C/F Mikki Moore indefinitely due to recent surgery he has had to remove bone spurs in his heel. Moore has played in 23 games (20 starts) this season for the Warriors and he is averaging 17.7 minutes, 5.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. UPDATE: Moore will miss the next three months of the season.

The Golden State Warriors lose Anthony Randolph for 7-14 days

Blogged under General, Bloglockers, Big Warriors News, Front Page, Injuries by alleyoop on Wednesday 2 December 2009 at 9:12 am

The Warriors will be without PF/SF Anthony Randolph for a week or two due to a sprained left ankle. He has played in 16 games (1 start) this season for the Warriors and he is averaging 21.4 minutes, 11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 1.1 blocked shots. This will hurt the Warriors as Randolph is one of the better players on the team which is already thin due to injuries.
