The Golden State Warriors lose Brandan Wright
The Warriors will be without 21-year old power forward Brandan Wright for the next 4-6 months due to a severe shoulder injury that could require surgery. This is a huge blow to the Warriors as Wright was going to get a lot of minutes this season. He played in 39 games (23 starts) for the Warriors last season and he averaged 17.6 minutes, 8.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. Wright has now played in 77 games (29 starts) in his two year NBA career and he has averaged 13.8 minutes, 6.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game. This will hurt the Warriors who were depending on Wright to have a important role on the team in 2009-2010.
