The Warriors have been giving their rookies some playing time to see what they can do with surprising results. Undrafted rookie guard Anthony Morrow has really stepped up this season for the Warriors. He has played in 8 games for the Warriors this season and he is averaging 23.9 minutes, 13.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. Look for him to continue to get a lot of playing time as long as he plays well. Forward Anthony Randolph has also done a solid job when he has gotten onto the basketball court this season. He has played in 8 games for the Warriors this season and he is averaging 15.4 minutes, 5.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.5 blocked shots per game. DeMarcus Nelson has also been playing decent when given the opportunity to show what he can do. Nelson has played in 8 games for the Warriors this season and he is averaging 14.6 minutes, 5.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Forward Rob Kurz could be in for some more playing time soon. He has only played in 1 game this season for the Warriors and he scored 4 points and grabbed 2 rebounds in 22.6 minutes on the floor. Richard Hendrix hasn’t played yet this season but the Warriors have high hopes for him.

The Golden State Warriors have acquired 28-year old guard Jamal Crawford from the Knicks for 28-year old forward Al Harrington. This was a outstanding trade for the Warriors as Crawford will probably move right into the starting lineup at point guard while they rid themselves of Al Harrington who was disappointed with his role on the Warriors. Crawford played in 11 games (all starts) with the Knicks this season and he averaged 35.6 minutes, 19.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. He has now played in 544 games (340 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 32.0 minutes, 14.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Al Harrington played in only 5 games (all starts) for the Warriors this season and he has averaged 33.2 minutes, 12.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Harrington has now played in 661 games (375 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 29.4 minutes, 13.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
