The Golden State Warriors give their rookies a chance
The Warriors have been giving their rookies some playing time to see what they can do with surprising results. Undrafted rookie guard Anthony Morrow has really stepped up this season for the Warriors. He has played in 8 games for the Warriors this season and he is averaging 23.9 minutes, 13.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. Look for him to continue to get a lot of playing time as long as he plays well. Forward Anthony Randolph has also done a solid job when he has gotten onto the basketball court this season. He has played in 8 games for the Warriors this season and he is averaging 15.4 minutes, 5.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.5 blocked shots per game. DeMarcus Nelson has also been playing decent when given the opportunity to show what he can do. Nelson has played in 8 games for the Warriors this season and he is averaging 14.6 minutes, 5.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Forward Rob Kurz could be in for some more playing time soon. He has only played in 1 game this season for the Warriors and he scored 4 points and grabbed 2 rebounds in 22.6 minutes on the floor. Richard Hendrix hasn’t played yet this season but the Warriors have high hopes for him.
