Baron Davis is off to an outstanding start for the Golden State Warriors

Baron Davis is off to the best start of his NBA career this season. Davis has played in 14 games this season and he has averaged 40.4 minutes, 24.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Davis makes all of the players around him better and the Warriors need him to stay healthy if they are to return to the playoffs this season.

The Warriors fell behind the Pistons 60-40 in the first half and that was too big of a deficit to come back from last night. Baron Davis led the way for the Warriors with 29 points, 3 rebounds and 10 assists. Al Harrington also had a solid game with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Andris Biedrins was solid around the basket with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists. The Warriors are now 0-6 on the season.

It could be a long season for the Warriors as they even lost to a team they have owned. But it’s hard to win when the Warriors allow the opposition to shoot 50% from the floor and they got outrebounded 49-38. Baron Davis led the way with 37 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Kelenna Azubuike also had an outstanding game with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Al Harrington pitched in with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. The Warriors are now 0-5 on the season.

The Warriors just couldn’t keep up with the Cavs last night. Baron Davis only shot 11 for 28 from the floor but he still finished with 29 points, 4 rebounds and 10 assists. Monta Ellis also had a rough shooting night hitting only 7 of 19 shots from the floor. He finished with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots. Al Harrington had a solid game in the paint with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The Warriors are now 0-4 on the season.

Utah Jazz 133, Golden State Warriors 110

The Warriors failed to play any defense in this game as the Jazz hit 63% of their shots from the floor which was the key factor in the blowout loss. Al Harrington played a monster game as he led the way for the Warriors with 38 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Kelenna Azubuike had another solid game with 17 points. Andris Biedrins held his own when he was on the floor as he finished with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. The Warriors are now 0-3 on the season.
