The Golden State Warriors sign Troy Hudson

The Warriors have signed Troy Hudson to back up Baron Davis at point guard. Hudson should fit right in on the fast paced Warriors roster. He played in 34 games (6 starts) last season for the T-Wolves and he averaged 16.3 minutes, 5.9 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. His shooting wan’t that good however as he only hit 37.9% from the floor, 35% from three point range and 81.3% from the free throw line.

Hudson has now played in 508 games (168 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 22.0 minutes, 9.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. He has made 40.1% of his shots from the floor, 33.9% of his three pointers and 85.7% of his free throws over his career.

The Golden State Warriors let Sarunas Jasikevicius walk

The Warriors bought out Jasikevicius and then they waived him so he could play in Greece. Jasikevicius played in 63 games (3 starts) last season for the Pacers and Warriors and he averaged 15.4 minutes, 6.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. He played in two seasons in the NBA covering 138 games (18 starts) in which he averaged 18.3 minutes, 6.8 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
