Stephen Jackson has been suspended by the NBA for the first 7 games of the 2007-08 season because of his off court conduct. He played in 38 games (37 starts) for the Warriors last season and he averaged 34.0 minutes, 16.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He made 44.6% of his shots for the Warriors last season, 34.1% from three point range and 80.4% from the free throw line. This will hurt the Warriors early in the season as Jackson has excelled in their offensive system.

The Warriors have re-signed Kelenna Azubuike after his fine rookie season in the NBA. Azubuike played in 41 games (9 starts) and he averaged 16.3 minutes, 7.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. He shot 44.5% from the floor, 43% from the three point line and 78.2% from the free throw line. Azubuike fits in well with the Warriors running style of offense and it was smart of them to re-sign him.
