Point Guards
Baron Davis is one of the most athletic point guards in the NBA. If he stays healthy, the Warriors will be able to keep pace with any team in the Western Conference. Davis is not a good shooter, but he’s a decent scorer as he has averaged 15.9 points per game for his career. Davis gets to the line alot with his aggressive drives to the basket, but he’s doesn’t convert his free-throws (66.8%) which causes him to lose 2-3 points per game. Davis is a good playmaker that has averaged 7.1 assists for his career. Davis also has averaged 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game for his career.
Keith McLeod was acquired from the Jazz in the Derek Fisher trade. McLeod is a good back-up point guard that would be in trouble if forced to play big minutes. McLeod is not a good shooter (34.9% FGs), but has averaged 2.9 assists in his career while averaging 19.8 minutes per game.
